Hi guys, Dan here from Melbourne's SE burbs.
I've been searching for a splitty commercial for around 3 or 4 years and have finally pulled the trigger and scored myself a nice, but little rough SC.
I bought it off Frank out of Geelong, it's currently a blue on blue colour scheme over yellow over white over god knows what else. Plans for the moment are for a tidy up underneath ( new outriggers, sills and nose) along with mechanicals and hopefully a relatively easy registration.
I'd like to run it as close to as is over the summer and really get to enjoy it, then slowly clean it up over time.
This is my first (but not last) VW. Being born into a Bowtie family I'm a little late to the party.
Pics to come when I'm not so ashamed of it's kennel (garage).
Hope to meet you all at some shows
-Dan

Welcome Dan.
I remember seeing the bus at the VW swap meet recently. Does it still have the corvair motor in it?

Love is like a fart,
If you have to force it, it's probably shit.

John - no motor included in the sale unfortunately, I have toyed with the idea of an aircooled 6. Maybe next winter...
