Post by 4IRC00L3D »

Hi all,
Finally on the dsk!!! :D
Names Harry
Been playing with vws since I was 15 , I'm 22 now and the passions still there!!
Have a couple of dubs but the most important my 62 split panel :)
has some history behind it , being an old bricks van from SA

Hope these pictures work
As I bought it and when it's back in the shed, started stripping it back to og paint

cheers for the welcome!

the plan is to leave the signage with the dove blue,
but as grant said it is actually on top of the red... atm I'm thinking of just trying to blend it in, so it fades from red to blue keeping the sign writing. if all else fails theres a dude in perth who's pretty good at old signage so may even have it redone, but i wanna keep the og stuff

will keep you updated and probs start a build thread on here, just picked up half my panels from bernie at munster. need a few other little hard to get bits,
nothing major atm tho

just getting my notch (girlfriends daily) out the way -.- nearly all done now... the pits to come soon :) then onto the split! wooooohooooo!!!

does anyone have any info on a bunch of Hallett Brick vans ? mine is lucky no.13 of .... i dunno, under the red is more sign on top of the dove blue, I can only make out an address for now
