new face

Post by Gunther »

G'day all,
I thought I had sent a "G'day" a couple of months ago But I may not have hit "submit" so, I'm doing it again.
Long story short- I blame Elton (he knows it) for my keen interest in Split busses (not shit busses as my wife calls them). I'm in Canberra (don't hold that against me). I have a green/white 66 bus, a 62 DC & a bay SC. The SC is for sale.
I've been looking at the site for a while & am amazed/ inspired as to what can be achieved with time, passion & some folding stuff.
I'm looking forward to putting some faces to AKAs at Old Bar. Me and a couple of mates are heading up & looking forward to our first big run.
Regards, Tony.

Welcome Tony.

Pics mate. We are an illiterate bunch. We just look at the pics. ;)

Geeze Shaven... one to comment on the hair mate :P

Actually hair is a funny thing. If you gave someone the choice of a head covering that;
- you had to wash almost every day
- pay to have cut
- could get nasties like lice, dandruff and such
- whether straight or curly would probably not be the style you wanted
- will probably end up disappearing anyway
Or one which;
- You can wear a different one of every day if you like.
- Don't require any preparation in the morning.
- Can wash 50 at a time.
- Can actually keep your head much warmer and drier.
- Can match the colour of your bus
- You can by just about anywhere for a few bucks if you left yours at home

Why anyone would choose hair is somewhat odd.

Pics Tony, pics mate. You don't want me to ramble.
