Hey everyone, thought I would introduce myself. Im Jake and my partner is Tori and we have a 74' Bay Camper with a 1600. Named Shelby, Its in the very early stages of resto.
We bought our Van as a non runner, previous owner wasnt 100% sure what was wrong with it. Then after an Email from GFresh, George came around for a BBQ and a few days later he came round angain and showed me a few things, had a tinker and managed to get it running (pretty nicely at that).
We are all stoked now that there is a bit more progress and hope to start a Build Thread and hope to learn heaps and meet as many VW owners as possible.

Welcome to dsk guys.
One of our lads is Jake too. Should be an easy one to remember.
Hope you have lots of fun with your camper and enjoy the project.
Lots of help and advise here.

Dave :)

Welcome to DSK Jake

make sure you start a build thread in the "Members Other Rides"

Spend some time on here mate and you'll be slamming a split before you know it

Great hanging out and getting that old girl going, I only wish I still got butterflies when I was about to start something for the first time.

I only get them now when it doesn't start and should, no wait, that's not butterflies, that's a bowl movement called getting the shits!!!

Cheers, George
