Here is a picture of my homebuilt. Alot of my own mods. Powered by a 110hp Chevy Corvair motor.Took 12 years and started from scratch. I hope my Splitty re-build goes quicker.

VH-VPT is a model that was called a Volksplane. It was designed to fly behind a VW engine back in the 1960s. I modified it which added weight so the Corvair with its 110hp was a bit better than the 80 hp VW. I call it a vair plane now.The aircraft is at tyabb. Still playing around with it. The corvair is a real sweet and smooth engine. I have a few spare engines, so maybe an option for a bug or bay.

hey, that's a big splitscreen. Do the doors come open when turning the corner like they do in a splitty?
