Hi all - long time lurker first time poster here

Live up in the Adelaide hills, don't currently have a split but am keeping my eyes open for something that suits.

Currently have a Mini Cooper S that is under resto and in bare metal and a 1960's Vespa.

Dad had a beetle when I was young so would like to get something air cooled again.

Have always enjoyed the build threads here - nothing short of amazing on a few of them with the turnaround of how little metal there was left.

Will try and contribute a bit more to the forum now 8)

Welcome aboard as it were!

Sounds like and interesting stable already. Any pics of the Vespa and/or Mini?
We're all a bit slow on here and like to look at the pics. ;)

Have found a picture of the vespa without the windscreen for those that are interested.

Purchased it from the original owner and it was well looked after

We all like pictures :D

Now some of the mini's

The first is a Cooper S replica race car from something that was raced in the 1960's in the UK, 1310cc engine with weber

The second is the Cooper S that is slowly getting finished - this is as purchased

And during stripping

Top stuff. I'm a huge fan of both. I'd have a vespa but my fat arse would break it. We do have a Rover Mini though. Love it to bits.

Welcome aboard mate.

Also a fan of the Cooper S, they do perform hand brake turns like nothing else really dont they!

Where abouts in the hills are you?

Great stuff - I am at McLaren Vale so just around the corner. Good luck with your hunt...
