New splity samba

Hay dskers! Drive a Subaru powered bay as my daily driver n was lucky enough to score my first splity, n not just a splity a samba!! 21 window that had been in a hoarders carport on the Gold Coast for 18yrs so it's back in Sydney n the resto begins!!

still trying to work out what year model it is was missing ragtop and all the seats and motor but rust wise it is pretty sweet

this is how I found it, not moved in 18 yrs guy owned it for 25yrs and his mate before him, still has stickers all over it from travelling around australia

There might be an ID plate on the bulkhead, behind the drivers seat.
This is called an 'M' code plate. It is like a birth certificate. It will tell you the build date, original colour scheme, original destination etc.
Put up a pic of the plate, and we will decipher it for you.
