G'day from Canberra

Hi DSKers
I haven't got one yet, but am looking to acquire one as a project. There's a lot to learn, especially for someone like me who up until now has relied on others to fix my cars.
However, I now have plenty of time to do things and I am spending that time reading, researching and thinking about the steps required to restore one.
This was all triggered by happening to be in Sydney about a year ago when I saw Kelly Slater chauffeured to a function at Manly in a stretched split limo. I took lots of photos and harassed the driver for more details.
In a word I was "hooked".
Unfortunately for me it seems that no one has found a cure for this disease yet.
If anyone in the Canberra region is looking for a hand to do a resto, please sing out. I'd love to catch up with you and help where I can, or just have a chat.
Regards...Sharkie
