HI All, better late than never they say, i am new to all things vw (not just new a virgin) never even sat in one.
i will apologize from the get go and hopefully not be asking to many dumb things .
my story is that i build cars for a living and have a customer wanting a split built.
i need to find out as much as i can before i buy him one so its not a lemon.
from what i see so far is rust is the devil then coming in 2nd is shoddy patch ups.
so look forward to the steep learning curve.
