Hi All
I'm Terry from Peterborough SA.
Already a caretaker of 3 VWs (full size) and heaps of smaller ones as well.
As yet we haven't managed to include a Split in the mix but not for want of trying.
Can see this as being a great place to make some contacts and learn more about earlier buses and if all goes well find one to give a good home.

G'day Morts
2 projects and a runner.
69 Kombi that is waiting for some tlc. Has a small bit of rust and needs brakes.
74 Superbug with no motor, gearbox or roof. It's a Sunbug conversion. Eventually to be semi Baja'd. Can't believe we drove to Sydney for this thing!
71 Notch which runs well. Probably could do with a good overhaul of the motor and autotrans.

The notch looks great - are you bringing it to Volksfest on 29 November?

Sure hope to. Last trip out it came home on a truck. Think that little problem is fixed now. Will start cleaning it next week.

Hi Terry,
Welcome aboard!
Looks like you've got the VW "bug"...pardon the pun, especially travelling to all the way to Sydney for the Superbug.
Good luck with your hunt to add a split to your collection. Have patience... they can be quite elusive to get hold of.
Look forward to a chat and will look out for you and your Notch at Volksfest. Peterborough is not to far from my old stomping ground, Pirie. Love the ranges up through that way.
Cheers
Tom
