G'day Guys
New to the forum, recently purchased a 63 Turkis 11 Window bus from Melbourne and a 61SC which was on the For Sale
thread on DSK. My son and I love VW'S. My son in particular has a very keen interest.
Cheers
Here are some pics:

As far as I'm aware, It left the workshop in Melbourne in the early 2000's and went to SA. After a couple of years it ended up in WA. Johonno and the Munster garage crew did the majority of the work, before DSK member Kombine bought it. It was towed using an A frame across the nullarbor back to QLD. Scott (Kombine) finished off the metal work and then a deal was done. I finished the mechanicals, electrical and trimming and got the old girl registered again.
I've got loads of pics of it if you're keen. Great ute. Still one of the best splits I've ever driven.
Cheers,
Leon
