New guy from rural Victoria

Hey guys Ive been surfing the site here for quite awhile

Im reasonably new to VW's, not having owned one but would like to soon, I have about 5 VW engines as I have a dune buggy but im wanting to get into split busses. If I could find one I would sell my VX commondore wagon and get it

Im 18 and from Portland Victoria

I can only hope so, Ive been doing alot of random driving lately to try and find something, Nothing so far accept from fat chick beetles and bay window busses.

I dont think ill spend that much money on my first split thats more than a years wage for me

welcome mate... you will find one. as for money. well dont worry it will cost you a bit one way or the other. prices can vary depending on what/whos invovled, but as said,, be patient and you will find the it.

something to think about is not to get too distracted by the bling factor as after all a lot of parts etc are available locally now. better to buy a good base first, then as you save your money add the extras. dont get too caught in the hype. 8)
