Be rude not to say G'day....

I've been poking my nose in here every so often for a while now, so though i'd better make it official. Great site with lots of helpful stuff...Currently restoring a 65 Devon Caravette, and also got a 60 Beetle (slammed on Empis). The Devon will be a stocker on big meaty whitewalls, and she'll be on the road in a few months (hopefully). It was pretty rotten, but most of the original interior was there and in good nic. Here's a pic of when i brought it about a year ago:
It was first reg'd in NZ in May 1967 by a doctor, so i'm guessing he probably went to the UK, brought the van new, did the old hippie trail round Europe, then shipped it home with him. It had about another 14 owners after that, then made it's way to one of the guys on our forum, who i brought it off. Last on the road a good 10 years ago.....
