58 lover.
Gday all ,just new to this forum. Big thanks to the Brewmaster for putting me in the know about this site, and the intro as well. I am the owner of the 58 split panel in adelaide.. you know ! the guy who should be shot ..once for each flat window. I plead not guilty on that one, as was when i purchased the girl. She is for sale but still not sure about a reasonable asking price but getting and idea thru whats available from the "for sale" list. Thinking 10 k. Hope to put together some photos of the interior and rust spots so that people can get an idea of what she's about. Seems the best way.. plenty of comment about her on a different forum (KC) from those who had plenty to say without seeing her. Mind you its hard accepting i will be letting her go when i see all that is available and those undergoing a resto, makes one think twice. Anyway HELLO.. ! hope to post some pics soon and get some feed back..

Hello, and welcome.
You will find that some people will give you advice of which they know nothing about, just to appear to others to be intelligent. I would ignore this advice, though sometimes it can be hard to determine what is genuine and what is not. This is a general comment of mine, and, in itself, is advice that you may wish to ignore.
Shame you have to sell your bus, though I am sure that the buyer will give it lashings of good attention. Although after looking at some of the awesome restos on this site you may think twice and keep the bus. With regard to price, if you have a price in mind that you are happy with, whack it in the for sales and see what happens. If it sells and you are happy with the price, then all is good. If you are not sure what it could be worth, and want to get as much as possible for it, then put it on ebay with the price you are happy with as the starting bid (say for example, just pulling a number out of the air $4500), that way anything over that will be a bonus. If you list it in the for sales at too high a price (again just arbitrarily coming up with a number, perhaps $15000), then it won't sell and you may be stuck with it. This can then create problems further down the track, where people have a bad vibe about you and won't pay the amount that you would have been happy with in the first place, meaning that you are not happy, and that would not be good.
Hope a small amount of that made sense.
Cheers and again welcome.
Dave
