First Splitty Picked up today
This is my first splitty project and I'm pretty excited about it. Will be a huge learning experience, and I'm sure I'll be a regular question asker here. I'll do my best to keep you posted on my progress.

First question. Should I remove the pins from the hinges, if so how?

The roof needs plenty of work. I have thought of a couple of ideas.
Most of the gutter are rusted, may replace with samba windows.
Anyone know how hard it would be to install a ragtop?

Congrats on your bus!! Looks like a heap of work like mine Those door pins can be a pain to remove. I used wd40 and heat then a good old tap!! Looks like you will need a few replacement panels too
You can work out what year you have from this,

oh yeah big job , you can buy all the gutter repair sections from autocraft , even samba sections , think there is a guy who sells a complete rag top inc all bits needed in the states .
Do your sums first its cheaper to buy a near complete bus than try to build one (if you have to pay someone ) $50k for your idea minimum ..plenty of pics if you do the roof conversion

Sorry mate. Keeping the bullbar for another project.
How hard is it to remove and reinstall the fresh air vent? There is a small bracket screwed to the roof above it and its allowed water to leaks in, feel pretty rusted on the inside.
