Well August was a waste, got the flu and knocked me around a bit, but progress now the weather has heated up. I plan to rub thru the blue for a patina effect so I have been using Red epoxy 2 pack primer, building it up and sanding it back, would be easier in hi fill but cant get it in red, there has been a bunch of sanding

Now my painting skills are no so good, I did a 6 week course on youtube, but so far have only spent $900 on materials, I couldn't afford to get it painted professionally, I'm sure I will make a bunch of mistakes but i'm having a go. Ian

Looking awesome. Any pics of how you did the steering box raise? Looks like there’s no zag after the zig?

25 mm raise mate, you can see it in the underneath paint picture, just cut it on the same angle as the steering shaft, you could lift it up further but I don’t want to cut the column down and any higher makes the steering wheel too high

Yeah im all over the angles, i wanted to see yours better because it looks like you only cut it in one spot, so its not a Z like usual. Ill have to have a look. Ive already cut down my column and steering shaft so i can go 38mm raise but i was planning on doing the double cut, your way looks like less work.

Painted it yesterday, I got more runs than Dave Warner in his Ashes campaign, but they will all rub out, a bit dry in some spots, but its all one colour

Wouldn't worry Wiz, that's no runs at all. Nice work bus looks great, weather is turning on for you on the mid.
