Decided to have some fun today. Cut out and got the outer short side sill and pillar in. Had to cut the treasure chest sill as it was for a bus and about 40mm to long. Finished of the rear of the inner pass cab wall. Plugged away and got the 1/4 section of dogleg in. Then finished of with the other side of the sill.
Had to get the treasure door on to make sure all gaps where going to be sweet so cut up some 5 mm steel and tapped it then placed it in and screwed the door up. :)

should have some time this saturday to hopefully finish of the last bit of pillar between the bottom dogleg and outer sill. If time permits i should have the outer skin on the bottom of the dog leg and be onto the other side....

so got stuck into the two outriggers, 3 sections of top hat, drivers inner, 6 inch patch where the sill meets for the front and rear of the wheel arches.

mostly ground down so should be onto the outer and front at the end of the week.

nearly time to start ordering finishing parts. :)

Same Matt

Living in a apartmant block and already risking it with noise have to make sure i dont have any mess. My garage flows into the shared laundry. It feels better to pull all fresh tools out each time and know where everything is too.

Had a bit of spare time this arvo and although its probably in the wrong order, The last owner decided to blast all the interior and a mate has been importing soundproofing so got a deal to see how it goes. He is selling it on ebay. Its alot thicker than dynamat but in saying that its a nightmare to lay. I gave up on the second sheet. Was near imposible to roll out all creases.
Will do a bit more next few arvos. Just staying away from areas i havnt welded yet.

Once again sat down to sort the tax out and ended up downsairs side tracked. Went to look and see what part i had in the garage. Next thing i knew i was making up some pillers, welding in the outer long sill, a few other peices that needed squaring up. Then finished of the front lower outer and drivers outer lower dog leg sections.

Had to pull the ute out and spin it around to get ready to weld in the treasure floor section so i can roll her over and grind down all the welds and finish off the painting
