No progress this time on the bus as my partner has a broken leg!! which meant although I was home for an extra week I was unable to work on the Kombi due to looking after the kids and her... the sacrifices we make I did take possesion of a drivers side complete A pillar from das restos which arrived in the post.. I was going to try and repair the original but decided new was the better option considering the job it does.
Also had pieces for a headlight support bracket made/ rolled locally... 2mm sheet cut and rolled to match original with 5mmx 40mm flat bar rolled to be welded to the 2mm in three places as stiffeners across the bracket and the required lip at the bottom cut out of 2mm to match the radius also to be welded on... its part of the stiffening of the front end that I am going to do... forgot to take pics of the pieces.. duh

Well I had to get it rolling again as we are moving house so back in went all the bits that make it roll. it has been a terrible year for progress.
Put some photos up of it out in daylight.
We are making a move out of the country towards the end of the year so this is probably going to be sold.
It comes with a good number of the panels req to do rust repairs.. long side panel, top and bottom rear corners, gutter and roof section for rear, complete b pillar, complete a pillars (installed, drivers needs adjustment), windscreen surround full size, all the bits to complete the front end, front bumper mounts, front and rear bumpers, battery tray, engine surround, all glass is there, only part of one seat.
It has engine, gearbox and front end all unknown condition and needing rebuild.
Not sure of price right now as Ive only just decided to move it on and am still wiping up the tears!!
Open to offers though, pm me or what ever if interested, while I have a look around at what it may be worth, if I dont get a reasonable offer I will put it in a container and take it along for the ride
