Hey Surfncam,

I had the same fears with sandblasting all has come back nicely. Being a ute the panels aren't so big to warp.
I had it sandblasted in Lismore I can get the phone number for you. These guys are aware of the issues with blasting and will take care. I'm getting all my body work done down that way.
I haven't received the bill yet but I'm expecting $800-$1000, sending it in on the rotiseri made things a lot easier for the guys.

Thanks Benno

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Yeh would like their number if possible, Rotiseri 's the way to go would like to get hold of the plans for that or some detailed photo's.
Would like to check it all out so if your going down that way soon let us know and I can take you down in the work van (=free fuel) my work hours are very flexible.

G,day Benno, good to see some pic,s up.Yep this ute is currently takeing up some space in my shed .As Ben said its pretty good example of a 63s/c.Although it had abit of rust, most has been removed now, just a couple of spots that the blasting revealed. Now it is just a matter of welding in some replacement panels.Made so much simpler with the rotiseri. Will keep you all posted on the progess. This is first of 4 splits in need of a make over. Also got to do my 63/bus and poo/barr,s bus and his d/d panel .And my 2 sons keep bringing home stray kombi,s.Its all good, thats why we live out here, plenty of room and shed space .........cheers Don... splitwit...

Cheers Benno & Don,

Thinking of doing the same (stripping large panels etc) and get finer stuff and underbody blasted. Hey Slitwit whats the damage to build us one of those rotiseri's?.
Any time you wanna cruise on down give me a bell 0439 720 718.

Nice one benno - would be good to meet you some time (I live 2 streets away from cam). The Goldy will have quite a split community building up over the next year or so as these restos are finished!
