DC is now in the very capable hands of Barry at Split Decision Restorations getting some much needed metal work done.

I do like when these project take up the rounds of work and time that has to placed into a job like this. I always show my wife dc pics but I can't let her see this. As I have informed her I don't have to put in to much work in to the dc at home . hope we can share pics threw out our builds this year and towards 2020. mind you I should buy a phone that takes pics so , load up can be done quicker,

Klaus, when you get a chance can you put up the DPU number for the 785494 DC chassis. I'm interested to know how far apart our DC's are given we're only 19 chassis numbers apart. Thanks

Bit of an update. No real surprises when it came back from blasting.

This DC had more hits than Elvis. Needed a bit of realignment work. Reinforces my decision to get Barry from Split Decision Restorations to the work, as it was way above my pay grade

This was a curious one. There was a extra hole stamped (not drilled) in the floor near the clutch pedal. Same dimensions as hole for accelerator (Brake & clutch holes are smaller). Can only assume it was a factory friday arvo stamping error that got through the quality control inspectors
