Keep up the nice work.
Any idea on the colour you're going to paint it?

If you're thinking of polar white, check this out.

I reckon it looks hot in this white.

Dove blue would look nice.
Is it a '67? FYI, according a 1967 Aussie brochure, SC's were available in Lotus White or Zenith Blue.

Mate, that ute on youtube is madness!
His front beam must only be about 2 feet wide.
The RTA would take one look and die laughing.
And can you imagine getting it into Fairfield Showgrounds for the Nationals?
Cheers & God Bless

Thought you guys would like that.
You wouldn't even make it to the show ground at Fairfield, the 'well maintained' RTA roads in NSW wouldn't allow it.

Looking forward to hearing about the ute euro. Keep us posted.

euro wrote:just saw that ute on u tube, might have to take a poll to help me decide in final colour. will keep posted about the new ute, got sent a piccy this morning, low top and no indicators on front, cant wait to see it in person.
Poll sounds cool. At least it would give you some ideas.

The ute sounds good. Mid 50's perhaps with the lack of front indicators. Looking forward to hearing more about it. Best of luck with the inspection.

That zenith blue is fantastic. Go with it - single colour - it will be amazing, orig, classy and not too common. 8)
saw a 68 yesterday with the fuel tank out - the original paint behind where the tank was was that colour I think. I said to the owner at the time what a great colour it was, came home and saw this on here!
Imagine what you would do if you knew you couldn't fail.

Is there any way they can send you some pics of the bus? At least you'd get some idea and could organise transport without an inspection.

Good luck with the ute, trust your gut instinct. If you think you should get it don't hesitate or you may regret it later.
