Thanks everyone. Very uplifting thread this one. Even the quote provided by Frogsta is a cack. You would think they would be happy buses were staying in Aus. Are we allowed to guess where that came from? Besides I sent one to QLD so I figure bringing one out is only fair. :)

Make sure you all drop by and say hello at the calendar stand at DOTVW.

Rawdsta. You've got a beaut there you bloody Vicco. Congrats. It could have it's own calender next year!
(Psssst. don't tell those bloody Queenslanders they're part of Australia. Spoil the fun. The world stops at the Queensland border as far as they know)
Well done Rawd.

Allright then....
Ya got me Rawdy.....your ok as long as you sent one back.
I must say, jolly good score old chap...
worth the wait.
I will admit I was born in Dandenong hospital in 74 and moved to where I am now in 76 so that makes a bloody Vicco too.

Seeing it's confession time. I was born in Brisbane and moved to the Burg in 82. Makes me a bloody bananabender. Go the Maroons!
Sorry Rawdy. Slight diversion there.
Saw your bus looking cool outside Bill's today.

Mate as long as you are into VW's I don't care where you come from or who you barrack for.

I am really lucky I am frightfully busy with work or I would be wearing a path in the lounge pacing back and forth wanting my bus back.

Thanks for the tip on Bill too Brad. Top chap and he is doing a cracker job on that Beetle of his.

On a sidetrack......
Ever since I can remember, if there was a car infront with VIC plates on it you would always have trouble.
For example, driving along the esplanade 10kmph, constant braking and almost stopping as Cecil points out a pelican to Berryl, etc, etc, this list goes on.
In QLD it is a common phrase to say"Bloody Vicco" whilst driving.
I'm sure there is the eqivelent where you are?
Do tell some more Aussie autoslang from your area.
There was Bloody Volvo driver stickers on Volvo's a while back so I think a DSK-Bloody Vicco sticker is on the cards, I would stick one on with pride.
