Top work, Glen.
The kids look like their enjoying the ride.
Although you can only just see their eyes it's obvious they're grinning like fools.

How much is a set of Atlas's?
Can you take them off if you're going to be driving on dirt roads?

Andy I got them off a guy on eBay, they cost me about $45 US but postage was $65 US. Still a lot cheaper than buying them locally.
He is based in turkey and sell Atlas white walls and some NOS VW parts.

They aren't able to be taken on and off easily.

Would look good on the P/van mate

Nah, was thinking of putting some on the '62 Panel I'm trying to get moving.
How do you fit them?
Can you clean them easily?
Cheers & God Bless

They break the bead on the tyre and slip the insert over the rim and it sits between the rim and the bead.
You can't use any chemicals to clean them just soap and water. From what im told.

In the past 3 weeks my hot water system and fridge have both shit em selves. Not happy times for me as my bus is sooooooooo close to getting on the road. But instead of leaving the garage door shut until I have some spare cash to carry on I decided to pull out some wet and dry paper and prepare the paint work for some penetrol.
I used 240, 600, 800 grit wet and dry sand paper by hand, the original paint smoothed out great. Still bored I pull out my orby and tried some micro finishing discs. I've previously used the micro finishing discs on surfboards I've restored. I used a 30 micron and then 15 micron paper.
I have only done the lower half of the bus, not sure if I ll penetrol it next or just polish it.
