And we finally have some colour! 8) 8) 8)

Custom mixed colour that was along the lines of Turkis but a little brighter and a little more blue.....colour is now known as "Hickling Blau"

Finally some colour on the bus!

The colour is a little different in natural light rather the booth fluoro's, should look great!

More stuff is getting done on the engine 8)

Pertronix dizzy is in and CSP bellcrank linkage just popped in place for a quick trial fit

Things are looking mighty good - just waiting on pulleys then clutch/pressure plate and she's about ready to fire up (after running breather lines etc)

Now the brake booster bracket has been welded in place the beam was repainted this time in gloss black (Al wasn't happy with the finish of the satin black previously painted)

we are getting closer now,

anywho here are some more pics of what's happening underneath the bus...

Today saw a few imperfections filled in the engine bay and high build primer reapplied

Some stuff is starting to back in underneath including the gearbox which has been detailed in a hammer finish silver

Clutch, accelerator, and handbrake cables have been run

Shift rod is in place, now time to reco the spindles and then get the bus rolling again!

here are some pics of what's happened today in the engine bay region...

The original engine lid prop bracket had been ripped off at some stage leaving some nasty holes

Since gas struts are to be used , the holes needed to be filled

Slight skim of filler smoothed things out nicely
