Thanks Ian for the info and offer of the door
I think I'll stick with door I'm going to use for the mock up
Yep next job is to start hanging some doors but they at champs getting some TLC to rectify some roll over damage caused many moons ago
Cheers

Re: 58 mingo mango
Well long time since last update and not much progress
I blame a lot of things but prob the main one is been lazy
Anyway here's a little update While replacing the bottom the c pillar many moons ago the little nut plate fell out the bottom f#ck it all
Which was hugely disappointing because this what I new I would have to do to get it back in

Re: 58 mingo mango
Now my cargo doors and front passenger door have been at my mates workshop getting some love mainly in the hinge part as there either broken or bent or seized or just foo bar
Now my mates workshop is in the land of farmers union ice coffee and they haven't been to kind to us in covid Victoria even tho in the shire I live is still yet to receive 1 positive case so getting into SA has been a issue, thankfully the CBCM pass is back up and running as a 40 km bubble either side
So I was able to pick up my doors the other day My mate made the template / jig to show how straight a bus should look down the b and c pillars
Here I'm testing it on my straight never crashed or rolled 61

Re: 58 mingo mango
I think you will be surprised how easy that c pillar comes out. It might be a bit harder to get it to stay there though. My b-pillar pushed out 10-15mm by hand when I repaired the hacked out bulkhead. Good to see some progress mate.

Re: 58 mingo mango
thats a bit... Post up how you get it to come out and stay. Would a relief cut on the inside of the pillar and then reweld help keep it there?

fantastic work. What happened when you took out the brace? Did you have to push it much over its correct placement?

Re: 58 mingo mango
Have a play down this side now
Needs a few tweaks, the big hit in the middle to the left side prob not helping Pretty happy with the Garson 3 piece complete b pillar at this stage, it just seems to be a bit out down the bottom prob will need a bit add to make up the gap
