Exciting times.
I'm arranging an engine to be delivered via many helping hands by fellow DSK'rs Thanks guys
And now anything I do to the van can actually be seen without having to go under it:D
So from now on its only going to look better every time I work on her.
In welding class last night I finally made some caster wheel stands to make life easier in my garage,
In total it set me back $145
$100 was for the caster wheels that I can lock to stop movement, the rest in steel and bolts.

Looking good Joe. You're ripping along so quickly that I'm having trouble keeping up with the story. I have to check every day to see what progress you're making.
It's like following a very well produced Kombi soap opera.
Maybe I should stop complaining when the wife watches Home and Away...
Nah!!! Keep up the great work.

Dreaming of split kombis.

Daryl makes a comeback
Be careful Joe, the stands are a great idea but have drastically narrowed and raised the COG of your bus. Just like Coupons, I work with heavy stuff and finding the point of balance of that stuff.
Plus I would be keen to see a brace between those two front legs. Make it so it bolts on, or even tek screw something to stop it from twisting.
Once you have the engine purchase sorted, let me know where and when and we'll sort out the mule

If it's up against the wall Joe, it can only fall one way Keep the wheels on because they are handy, just make sure you have a back up plan.
Simple rule of thumb is don't get between two things that are heavier than you.
Use the castor wheels and chuck a jack stand in underneath for ... just'in......
