Nice work as always Niko. What's the idea behind the holes in the engine lid - where the number plate goes ?

Its a idea of Stan's to get rid of the hot engine air quicker. The number plate sits 7mm away from the body on spacers so you can't see the holes. As the air enters the side vents and cycles it can exit through the holes.

Bus is looking very cool.

But!
I thought the only exit the incoming air should take is through the cooling fan and over the heads to cool them down, not out a back window

Me too, but with Stan's background I'm going with what he said. The dudes got a heap of info on these motors that most people don't know about. If it doesn't work no biggy as I 'll be getting another rear engine lid anyhow.

Might reduce air pressure in the engine bay and allow more air to flow through to help cooling?

He did explain it but it was over my head, I'll ask him again next time I've got 4 hours to spare ;) But that does sound about right.

Great to catch up with you yesterday Nik. Thanks for the tour of your bus.
I tip my hat to you for the work you've done on the bus. Well done.
Can't wait to see it on the road. Eagerly waiting to see the airide suspension in action.

Well this project has come to a screaming hold thanks to the fuckers at CE still no suspension after so many excuses. Its been 6 months now and I'm not sure what to do?
Last call was to Dave and he assured me it would be done in 48 hours that was last Thursday. No reply's to a few emails too.
Looks like I'll be asking for my money back. Pretty much want to walk away from this whole thing
Does anyone know anyone living near the shop over there?
