Thanks everyone, I'm humbled by your comments.
All I can say is, the fun is still there and now that things are starting to come together its just even more inspiring to continue.
Apart from the Melb weather and a minor set back the last couple of days with some sort of dust in the eye that has left me with a patch and off to the eye and ear hospital tonight, but apart from that ... can't wait to get back to it
I've posted on the wanted section three main bits that I really need.
Gear stick
Speedo
Fuel tank
If anyone has anything lurking in the garage and would like to sell, let me know.
And one more favor, can anyone post a pick of a front seat? the more detail the better. I wanna see if I can make one for now.
And thanks again for the support guys

Ditto on the fuel tank although I MIGHT have a Split one in my garage that I can donate.
BTW, a Beetle KPH speedo with the fuel gauge in it will fit fine too.
Save you the problem of constantly doing the miles/kms conversion in your head, although it doesn't even concern me.
Has your Panel got a single bench or rails for the driver's bucket and passenger double bench?

The soul of helpfulness, as usual, Tonz.
My '62 came with what's called a "hump" seat.
It has a "hump" about a 3rd of the way along the back to separate the driver and passengers.
It has the same brackets.
Here's some pics....
I'll take a few more detailed pics if I can tonight although with wind chill it's currently -6 C outside so you'll have to forgive me if I don't get there.
But this is the item I'd say you're after.
