Cheers mate, well its fighting me all the way to the bitter end, trying to get my head around the vw way of wiring its a joke!! Spent all day just trying to get the basics done and ended up going backwards

I'm at the same stage of wiring mate and got most of it done, anyway I can help or any questions?
Also my boss is an auto elec and electrician so I can get an answer if needed!

Made up a bracket for the steering dampener

Started on front bump stops as I was not happy with the beam doing the work. I used a beetle cv joint and axle shaft to fabricate.

wont the bump stops defeat the purpose of the air bags, as you will be limiting the travel of the trailing arms?

Not at all still get the full travel of the system, problem is without them the bus will slam into the ground if there's a system failure, ie air line pops off.

After a little testing today, One spline up or down on the front bump stop changes the height a fair bit. This vid has the bump stop at 40mm off the ground.

whats the lowest its sits with bumpstop removed ...frame on the ground or something else hitting

good for engineering for the 100mm limit ..with the air system you have does it have the "park " feature that sets it at a lower height when handbrake on ?

Without bumpstops the beams on the deck and the tyres are hitting the floor, just.

The only legal system here is the accuair one which has 3 ride heights and the "alldown button" which is ingauged with the handbrake. In the park mode bus sits at 50mm off the ground then apon start up it goes up to 100m or more if you like.
