first priority was a bit of a sandblast to clean up - sick of getting covered and now its much easier to be motivated

of course there was always going to be bad news as well as good

looks like i might need to find a donor bus for some cuts of steel that are a bit beyond my fabrication skills- the area under the spare wheel is completely shot and i'm thinking i want to replace the panel between the rear wheel arches completely... unfortunately with the rust in the lower nose i had no choice but to cut the front skin - shame as it wasn't rusted at all but good as the inner nose was pretty bent from the impact and it gave more access to pull the nose out a bit

not my favourite task but got the nose apart and back in some shape that resembles the original at least slightly...

was tricky with the bashed up front skin as i didn't want to lose that but at the same time couldn't really leave it all bent up - think its ok...

 Awesome work there mate not mucking around, yeh shame you had to cut the nose panel but it had to be done. So stoked you got to hang onto it 8)

Hey I always loved the silhouette of the badge on the nose panel, would look great left just like that methinks.

Nice work dude

into the the slightly tedious chassis patching - not much more exciting in picture form -sorry- but glad the job is done and all that red dirt is now gone!
rear outriggers on, now ready to fit up the fronts - just need to patch the crusty bits on the bulkhead so the tophat can go in...
