Yeah spot on - it is a daily driver afterall. The bus looks a fair bit lower in Andrew's pic! 800 kg or so will do that to it.63single wrote:looks fantastic nick the decals suit the truck and now with the new power and better brakes you will enjoy it more
I carted 300kg of mushroom compost and it was a far nicer experience.
Front inner guards need to meet with 'the pursuader' as there is a bottoming out issue on bumps.
Gee I get some funny looks , thumbs up, neck spinning action in this
Have only heard a few times that 'it will be worth some good $ when it is retored!".
Imagine what you would do if you knew you couldn't fail.

We maybe twins seperated at birth - I have had the exact same thought. You do have great taste. After all we have both loved the same birch girl.65busser wrote:That looks great Nick. You must be loving it. Love the STP on it. Perfect match. Had the same infatuation with STP stickers. Spooky!
Just a great look. New favourite ute. High tops rule.
The Racers Edge down the gates could do it. (2 bob)
Ryan ....... Ryan......Ryan.... (In the theme of Ferris Buelller role call).
Imagine what you would do if you knew you couldn't fail.

This thing is manufactring Browny Points for me. Picked up a cubby house today - could be a new canopy? Hoops are so last year.
Check out the reverse light too. Andrew was good enough to hook me up with an aircraft landing light. That's not a cool icon by the way. It is a warning to put on your sunnies if I back up.

Mate good call. Have done what you suggested with the tyres. Much better. Still a bit of an issue with reasonable weight on and a left hand corner but much better. Thanks.
Now also have rack and pinion steering (best money I have spent perhaps) and some extra signage from Warb (you were sooo right Brad).
Bit of pin striping this weekend at a custom car show and I think I will be done.

Not actually me on the mobile scaffold. The builder is putting in a laminated beam for the shed to games room conversion - pool table is coming. Only downside is that all the other stuff after the beam is my job (builders look away now lol) , so should be ready by Christamas.... maybe. I am chipping away. Can't get the mobile scaffold back in due to the door track now.Ted2 wrote:Last pic clearly qualifies the ute as a tax deduction

Hi Nick
When the front tyres wear out or perish,(both good excuses to change) ; consider 175/55/15 or 175 /50/15 for the fronts..Running them on my green ute and very happy with clearance..
Love the garden supplies pic...Reminds of every time I head into our local and the front end loader guy shakes his head when I say .."Yes mate ,it will carry a cubic metre of soil, its not a dual cab..."
Signage looks spot on..
Cheers Tony
