Well, been a while but finally got a proper rear bumper from jim gow in Victoria, then sandblasted, straightend and painted.
Also put some seatbelts in the front,a vw radio and a km speedo.

Yeah if it was totally up to me it would have been a good idea and cheaper but it sure is spanky like this.

It's a beetle speedo must be a crossover year from miles to km's but the beetle cable come in on an angle so you can't put it through where the bus one comes up normally.
It's not really the go but when I get time I'll see if I can swap the housings but good enough for now.

Looking great mate - I remember seeing way back when it was in the shed pre-resto (brother in law and I came up to have a look at an oval body - and drooled over all the buses at your dad's!).

I bet it will provide lots of enjoyment for you on the roads.

YEa i know its a beetle speedo, but the thing is its not a changeova speedo but an insert. Just wondering what the story on the inserts was.

Nice bus! Its looking sweet!
