Bit more action in the last coupke of days, seam sealed, bit of stone guard in the arches, and some colour underneath.

Got the paint on the interior, time to start fitting everything up to get it running and rolling.

Just because there is little content lately thought I'd post a few more pics. Things are moving along.
Wiring all complete.
Fuel tank etc all in.
Started the sound deadening.
Steering box shortened and all painted, plus many other little fiddly jobs done.
Lots of sand blasting and painting going on.
Almost ready for suspension install.
Gearbox mounting all done with mid mount in readiness for the small cock capacity engine.

Oh
Thought I should post these bad boys up too.. for the other couple of IRS conversations I have done another mate had made up the pins with the adjusters, and then another pours the bushes in a little mould he has made up.
Anyway through another mate, have found these Holden Pedders adjuster pins and bushes that work very well, have to machine the bush down to suit the IRS arms for diameter only, the length etc is perfect.
Good knowledge for anyone in the future doing the conversion and wanting the ability to adjust toe.

I had heard about these but never found the right info. Thanks mate, I’ll be ordering a pair. Do you need to do anything to stop them turning once installed or do they hold still?

I see how this can be helpful in toe in and toe out, but I think it won’t be enough to solve the camber problem if you want it low
Now I must state that I hate Bay Window IRS on a Splitty, they make it a wider track and have camber problems, you will never get it as low as a straight axle, and a straight axle in the long run is cheaper to install
I am willing to be proved wrong and will take out a full page apology
Carry on with the build you are making great progress

I've never had any trouble with them turning, once the bolt is tightened back up after adjustment it holds it so firm.

The adjusters still don't get all the toe correct, it helps but they still don't run true. That said they still drive nice and I've not had tyre wear issues, just don't do enough kms.
I like those USA built arms that you're running, and the adjustment they allow.
Oh, and I'm not going to argue with the Wiz.
