I know you are trying to do this on a budget and this might help to keep it on track, now i am not condoning it as some people will probably try to tear me a new one but it has to be an option when the time comes.
the results seem to look good and not a lot of special skills needed

see what you think
Speak like a pirate day, Arrrrr. looking forward to it and practicing walking around with one eye closed.

No, not really - there are some rustoleum products available in Oz but not Combi Colour or what the guy below uses. If you liked the T3's you'll love the finish this guy in the YouTube is getting, plus it's a great vid - he doesn't talk! Watch it...kombi1976 wrote:Well, I'm impressed, mate.
For a cheap method those T3s look amazing.
And if it's straight and solid underneath and it's shiny and glossy does it have to be sprayed?
Besides, seems like the prep is the trick.
Is the stuff available in Oz?

Hallelujah brother!!
Thanks for the feedback everyone.
Once again I'm getting a couple weeks brake from work to spend a bit more time on this project.
That means we will be back to a regular Monday video for a while
On the menu for this will be:
Getting the doors repaired and back on
Getting the dog legs in
Replacing the long drivers side panel
Oh and by the way my budget to date is.....
$8,095
Now with my floor replacement quoted at $1,400 I think I'm in trouble.
I'm going to leave the floor as the last thing and see how far I can get.
May have to change this to the $11,400 Kombi van challenge
