This is a good thread on metal working...
http://metalmeet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6823
But some specialized tools/machines are needed of course. You can handmake all the indentations (I will try to find you a thread of a guy in Thailand who did that). Basically anything with metal can be done.
Is it $1400 just for the floor pieces?? The orange (cheap) ones from Cip1 will work.
The way to do it is use, self tapping screws. Screw in the floor. Set it to where it needs to be first, and weld in the outers, then remove a screw, put in a weld etc. The orange stuff will work and that's what everyone used in the past, but it does tend to curve in between the I beams.
Gerson's is of course $$$ but WELL worth it. They're about $700 + shipping.
PS People have made floor indentations with a jig, and lots and lots of hammering. And of course flat floors, but if I did that I would go with 14 gauge metal or something thick and sturdy. Or just put the indentations on the outside where the cargo door is

You can just use a small bench press ( or a big one if you got acess to it) and bend the floor sections yourself ( again or get them bend up for you)
That way you end up with a sheet of the right profile.
Cut the floor to size .
Hard to explain but i try anyway.
Since you want a flat "border" around the sheet you cut slots into the side the profile is.
Hammer it flat and reweld your slot cuts.
I know its a bit of work but if you have time and not much money i rekon you could make the floor for little more than the price of the raw material.
And now you can make fun of how i tried to explain it.....
Cheers
Steffen
Ps when it comes to putting the glass back in let me know and i try sorting you out with first class seals at a good price.
(what a shameless plug for myself... Just trying to help you keep the budget!!)
Keep up the great work
It inspired me for sure
Thanks!!

I can see the floor will have many options, but for now I'm focusing on the side panel.
