Took ute to sandblasters this morning so thought i'd take fuel tank out last night. Surprise Surprise I found a little bit more Cooperpeedy dust.
Have calculated that we have lightened the poor old thing at least 50 kilo's.

Man that is a hell of a lot of dust!

Can't wait to see the next round of pics - I'm sure there will be a few holes uncovered by blasting (as I found out with my bug)....but better to find them now rather than a year down the track bubbling under fresh paint!

You wont have to wait long DAZ ! She's home allready with a clean as floor. Reckon I must have saved about 5 w-ends sanding and stiil not got all the hard to get to areas. Stoked!
The Guy's at the blasters could'nt understand why I was stress'n about them touch'n the outer body.
When we picked her up this arvo they asked "who was do'n the body?"
I just laughed.
ENJOY

Always very important,... to grab a brew,..sit on the trailer,...and ponder how friggin' good this will look when its done. All part of the journey..Luv it Daveo. Don,t forget ,when you get tired of it,give the old girl a ride on a boat to sunny Melbourne.I'm sure we would get along just fine.... :D Cheers Tonz
