Re: my $10,000 challenge with 61 Panel
Thank you all.
And a merry Xmas to all of you as well.
I am really Hoping that this coming year will see the return of my project.
My major hold up has been time with my new job, but I found if you just sleep less you can make up lost time
Immediate plans
Clear land for garage - remove a big ass tree (fun)
Plan and build the floor for garage - expensive!!!!
Erect the disassembled garage
BRING MY VAN HOME!

Hey Joe, caught your you-tube series while thinking about getting into this Kombi game... enjoyed it much... now I have a 62 bus/ rust thing and seem to be embarking on a similar restoration adventure as yourself.
Have read your entire thread now a couple of times and will check back through it and the video clips in the coming months while I nut out how to undo what has been done up for 50 years or replace what has rusted away over the same 50 years.
All the best, Luke

Re: my $10,000 challenge with 61 Panel
Hi all
God its been so long
The shed is in the same place we tucked away all those months ago, no movement at all. I made a bet with a mate if its not up by the end of the year I owe him what I paid for the shed (Thank god it was just $50 ).
The van has been safley parked at Damo's but after a long patient wait (I cant believe its been nearly two years) its time to give Damo the space back. So now I'm looking at options of where to store it.
Are there any covers anyone can suggest that would protect it enough out in the elements?

I bought the silver tarps from bunnings a little pricey but work great and are thick. Whats happened to your shed?
