Very tidy, lads.
I've had a look but can't find the engine specs.
What size is it, cam, carbs, etc, etc?
Cheers & God Bless

Hi Kombi1976 the engine is a pretty much stock 1600 TP, Al gave the heads a slight port job, Kardons with CSP linkage setup, Billet elec. dissy, sidewinder exhaust, electric fuel pump, upgraded coil and leads and thats pretty much it. Nice combination for easy cruising with IRS rear, L bug box, ball joint narrowed and drop spindled front end. Bay window munro Gas shocks fit nicely with the beam.

Cheers

That sounds like a good setup, Benno.
I ran a very similar setup myself before Steve Muller upgraded me to a 1776cc although I have an external oil cooler.
You should think about fitting one if you like driving alot during summer.
Cheers & God Bless

Will have to get em together Benno. Noticed in a couple of pics you have the engine lid open. Did you have any clearance issues with the sidewinder?

Cheers

Kombi1976 - Yeah it is a fairly good setup and im pretty happy with the way its runs, a bigger motor would always be nice but I've spent enough for now. I think the oil cooler is a really good option and will look at upgrading in the future.

Cheers

Ted 2 - The rear valance is not correct and im in the process of getting the correct valance painted, so once its done i'll be able to lock the lid.
Al and steve did have some trouble fitting the sidewinder and it had to be cut and re-welded to get clearance on the valance, this seems to be a common problem with the sidewinders.

Cheers

Klassic Fab gates

Post by benno »

Ok after a bit of debate with Al and Steve we've decided to paint the Klassic Fab gates as they are. We figured people will be keen to see the gates pretty much untouched, that way you can know what your going to get if you are considering ordering some.

I will have my original gates up for sale soon, and optional if wanted Klassic Fab gate repair sections to go with them.

Cheers Ben[/b]
