thanks guys, Scott, love the Split roast setup you used. Hell of a lot better than working from underneath. I've been using rust treatment today and man thats tricky when you apply it from under the bus.
Purchased $250 worth of paint/rusttech and new spray gun, I cant use my gravity feed gun from under the body. Tomorrow I can finally start painting the front chassis
So far the best investment I made are a pair of riggers gloves for $9 easily pay for themselves in Band-Aids alone. My hands are bruised cut and dry from the punishment of the last week.

Sounds like Bruce..?warb wrote:i used to keep my door up enough to duck under, not any more!... a bit of tape marks my height, door does not stop below it, ever!.. .. (until some troll moves the tape down a few inches...)
on a sidetrack to this ...
Heard of a bloke with a big dollar push bike..He had it strapped upright on the roof of his 4wd but forgot to remind his wife when she went off on an unexpected shopping trip..
The bike was trashed when she entered a basement carpark ...
He then had a big drama, suppressing his rage, after originally telling her he had ONLY spent a few hundred on the bike purchase originally...
Actual replacement cost---$7000...
Moral:-- Never lie to the finance dept...
Good progress Joe..
Cheers Tony
Wanted..Barny bits or 60's Supercharger other than Judson

Cip1 order was $395.50 for parts and $127.60 shippingdawerks wrote:Can I ask how much shipping was? Cip1 is actually in Canada
I used them for two reasons
1. was the only place I could find the 50-62 Bentley workshop manual ($99.95)
2. front wheel cylinders still were cheaper with shipping compared to others with shipping
US $523 dropped to AU $510 thanks to our dollar being a bit stronger
