got the motor and gearbox sorted straight away out of a cheap rusty beetle and got to test drive it first its all good-pics

let them all no how old your dad is doing his first splity resto..70,s?
He,s like a big kid and loving every minute of it. Loves his old motor bikes but now has found out the love of the vw,s.
cant wait to go for a drive with him in it ....Keep up the great work..

Is that how that thing was found , sitting on it's side in the bush , if so how cools that ???
Whats with the turn out in the middle of the roof up front , looks like a marker lite like on the old red rattler trains in sydney back in the day

me dads closing the roof in it had a camper top -he's going back to almost original except for irs-he's just made up sum ribs for the roof and we'll be weldin the roof sheet in shortly-pics
