after a few years back in the VW fold now I can finally contribute/or annoy other parts of the DSK forum...

picked this up last Sunday...!

will need lots of help/advice when the time comes...

cheers ben

twas a really long day filled with comedy and error..!

and some model trains - but Rossko can explain that later....!

here is a few pics of the new project - straight to the end of the que and straight into storage till after we move house...!

massive thanks to Rossko for putting in a 12hr day with an injury - CANNOT THANK HIM ENOUGH....!

on Monday:

well I know shit from clay when it comes to buses, but I reckon the bottom half of this thing is pretty damn sweet... some rust in the inner sills, but the floor (other than a section at the base of passenger B pillar) looks damn good

and can't believe how straight the lines on this thing look either

outriggers? look solid, nose looks solid, but the roof line is fooked...!

any toot....! (sorry about phone pics...!)

thanks guys - appreciate the love...!

so have had a look at the klassic fab site (kinda briefly) and it seems like you have to scroll for hours to find the panels ya want...

I just wanna know if you can get inner gutter line panels? as that seems to be the worst sections for rust on this little jigger....!

anyone got any ideas or better ways to search what I'm after...? much appreciated if you do... and best place to buy through? locally or direct from klassic? or are there other places that supply fabricated repair panels...?

cheers ben

Well done Benny. Looks like a good one. Hey what's that in the driver's door card? There's a map pocket down low and it looks like a smaller one higher up, just under the window? Might just be the pic but it looks like the same style of pocket. Probably a door pull but can't make it out.
Congrats mate. You must have one of everything now.

door trims look to be made of ply brad , so it would get used as a door pull . trust you to spot that , you interior spotter you!
