I made a quick trip down to Adelaide on the weekend to enjoy the balmy weather  Bit of a contrast to Darwin.

Anyway, managed to buy Paul (Hurricane's) old bus Ruby which we are pretty chuffed with. Not much in the way of photos as it was pissing down most of the weekend but we did manage to get a couple of drives in.

Thanks to Paul for bringing the bus to Mark Poole's in the pouring rain to be sussed out.

My sister who is the co owner is pumped! The plan is to book it in for a few bits to be sorted and then truck it up here for a few months of good weather and then back to Adelaide later in the year so my sister can enjoy it over summer......Maybe a road trip back

Thanks Guys

Its a bloody long way from Adelaide to Darwin! I'd like to get the bus up here asap to make the most of the cracking weather we are having. Maybe drive it back to Adelaide around October but see what happens.

My sister and her kids are up here in 10 days and with a bit of luck the bus might get up here in time for them to use it while they are here.

Pretty keen to get it wheel aligned and maybe a creative rack & pinion kit in to avoid any 'moments like I had on the freeway in the Adelaide hills yesterday  And I suspect a bigger donk than the 1600 single port its running now at some stage.

Judging by some people's reactions when we were out driving there's no lack of love for these things is there!?
