Vanfest UK

Post by Silky »

Well the ol girl has now well and truly lost her show virginity!! After a near fatal engine fire on the way to Bug Jam in July in a petrol station of all places!!!!! I had a stuck float in one of the idf's gave it a bash with the fire extinguisher!! and continued!
After doing a few more local shows and clocking up a thousand miles it was time for Vanfest which is the bigest show in the UK for the bus owners ( as if you didn't know!!) So here's a couple of snaps of mi 55. I will be posting some snaps from the show and shine later on when I can find time to compress the pic's Enjoy!!

just thought i would turbo the 1955cc motor

Post by Silky »

Hi guys. I haven't posted for a while but I though I'd post a link to a small video I made of the turbo engine I built from junkyard parts ( apart from the turbo itself pushed the boat out on that and the waste-gate to match my front pulley ha ha!
By the way it did haul ass till I blew it up thats what you get for having your deck height to small and detonated a big hole in the piston Doh!
This has given me the perfect excuse to go to the next stage and fuel inject it managed to get some CB throttle bodies keep you posted.
