So here it is ..

Happy to say we bought this and got it home today.

Another big project and will certainly take a lot of time and money but it'll be worth it.

Big thanks to Leon, Bruce and Dion ( again ! )

Massive thanks to Ash for sticking with me, to Frog for all his advise and kind words and to my old mate, Flip flop, honest and true.

Plans are to get it welded, back to dove blue if possible and then take it down.

Ready for Valla 2014 with luck !

Thanks mate..bottom 6 as usual but the underside has been coated in some tar like coating so she's solid as underneath..

House painted on top and thats saved a lot of work, now to invest in a shit load of Mr Muscle I reckon !

Dove blue goodness lurks beneath..

Good one Ian...

Valla sounds like a challenge I'd be interested in aiming for too...

Looked at this after buying mine and thought about swings and roundabouts...

Rust or damage..

Which one will it be..?

Love the aero front ... 8)

Thanks all.

Have a feeling it'll be a long thread for the resto !

We're both very happy about this bus and know what it's going to take to finish it, especially as it's still fresh in my head after doing the Yoot.

It'll be a question of save for a bit, buy it, save for a bit ...and so on.

Don't have the luxury of being able to throw huge amounts of cash at it so it'll be a slow processor but in a strange way I think it'll be more satisfying to watch it take shape over a period of time that is dictated by the ability to afford to do as we go. Same as the Yoot and that took just over 18 months..

And yes Bruce, Julie's car is out of the garage..ha ha not sure how long it'll last and I'll get the work car shoved out there !

Nice purchase Ian - looks like 2014 Valla could be the year of the barny then. I don't think we'll quite get 58 barnies like at OCTO this year, but a handful would still be cool (mine won't quite be finished but hopefully drivable by then maybe).

Looking forward to watching the the progress over coming months/years mate.
