thought i've done just enough now to show some progression on my split project.
when i got it pretty much the whole RHS was painted black, as well as the front and part of the LHS.
so i've been stripping that back as carefully as possible back to her factory colour polar white :)

picking her up from richmond; the trip back to launceston was fairly uneventful except the cargo doors kept coming open because there was crap in the latch holes, annnd a few things may have fallen out on the highway :?

the side has gone from this;

the front has some pretty serious dents in it, it appears to be rust free however, and seeings i'll be going for a bit of a rat look (give the roof looks so cool) i'm still unsure whether to even try to get the dents out or just leave them..
anyway it started like this;

oh and the roof; :D

the cab is really good, almost no rust, just that little bit in the far corner floor;

dodgy areas are as follows;

and some crusty door window frames; any tips on fixing this?

You have to love the initial clean out and seeing what you really are dealing with.
Only advice I can offer is get a prop under your paint shelf (pic 8 ). It's on the verge of a Pro Hart painting.
Good start,.... Dig in.
:lol:

ha ha yeah should probably brace that shelf a bit more, had to make lots of room very quickly when i got this bus, that was one solution :lol:
