Looks like no rust work needed, engine and gearbox from a beetle I bought will be going in, 68 front end with disk brakes, IRS rear end, shiny paint job and a noice interiorGreypow wrote:Looks to be very straight, hopefully not much rust work!

Looks really good. I am doing the same at the moment. My one is a 58 (the old Granny from MEL). Tomorrow I will start to strip the paint. I am looking as well for a good painter. I am in Byron Bay.
