Marz's 65 11 window
Hey All,
Thought I better contribute some of the stuff I've been up to over the last few months. I've had this 65 in storage for the last 10 years and I'm jack of driving a bay everyday so the time has come to get this thing on the road. Got most of the rust done, all the usual spots, tried to make as many panels myself because it's a tight budget build. Paint will stay the same, and make a nice interior. It will be a daily driver so it wont be stupid low and will have decent running gear. Already has BJ beam in so will stick with that. Plan is just adjusters and straight axle for road worthy then bay boosted disks up front and bolt on IRS with 1776cc motor. Got all the parts so now I just gotta find time to do it all!. Here's some pics. CHeers Marz.

Thanks, I know it aint 'factory' with out the lip on the front but i gotta work with what I've got. Some hack has made it a walk thru so that will get rectified at some stage. Has anyone one used the cheaper jackpoints available and will I be shitty if i buy them ?, fair bit of work to fix the old ones.

Nice bus, I brought the cheaper jacking points, tried jacking it up the other day with the factory jack and they just start bending.
If you stand quiet enough in the desert, You can hear the kombi's calling......

Thats the reassurance I needed, only one jack point left on the car so it might get taken off, I hate bus jacks anyways.
Split bus, I bought the bus out of the Geelong Addy when I was 17 for $1700 and has vic rego from the 90's so as far as I know it always been down here.

Straight axle is better than IRS
