Thinking about the next bus and wondering what to do as far as appearance. Will be a rat but just wondering wether to A. Ankor wax and leave it as it is B. Strip the blue paint and see what's left of the PMG red C. Well, open to suggestions !

Got two shiny buses so I'm done with nice paint and this will be my daily driver, just want something I can drive and park anywhere and not be concerned, throw the boards and bike in and not have to worry how I treat it.

Well then anchor wax might be the way to go. Love the tinted windows!!! I wonder how hard it would be to unveil some of the red paint?

Shouldn't be too hard, was thinking about whacking some oven cleaner over part of it and see what happens ! Plastic bag black for the tinted windows until I fit the rest of the glass and rear safari

Depends whether you prefer a ratty blu bus or a ratty red one.

I'd go the PMG if it was me. But looks good now as well!

PS had the same dilemma with my panel. Keep bright green and 1970's signs, or strip back to polar white. Chose the green machine for now. I can always strip later...

Oven cleaner and go find the OG pmg red, is my vote. The blue is too splotchy and has that big patch missing..... IMO :)

My PMG has shiny paint - I would rather ratty red but oven cleaner doesn't work real good on 2 pac!. Because it's a daily driver previous repairs and daily knocks are starting to show after 5 years which include the last 2 in the open 24/7. Plus I live and work 50 to 100m from the sea.

If you go ratty you can always paint later.

Shiny requires wayyy too much body work, that would be enough to convince me. I vote PMG ratty.
