Awesome KCW restored '59 ute is now mine!

I am so stoked to have scored this '59 single cab. I have gone through the build thread at the KCW forum over and over, zoomed in on the photos, and been amazed at the quality and detail JJ's team go to in putting this SC back together. Besides the mad metal fabricating skills, every single part, every detail, is gone over, cleaned up, repaired, etc. from the speedo to the reserve fuel petcock.
The ute has been restored true to its origins in detail - like the L345 grey it originally came out of the factory with, crows feet wheels, fuse box with original paper labels..... But with some unusual touches like the 30's American cyclops light.
For those of you without the time or patience to scroll through 46 pages on the thread (although the build doesn't really start until the bottom of page 16), I will post some of the photos I like best over the coming days. The build was only completed end of April 2014 and the owner decided to sell because he is putting money into another VW project - his loss is totally my gain, especially when you factor in what a detailed resto like this would cost in Australia.
Anyway, enough jabber....... Here's some photos.
Original front floor was in amazing condition as was the ute tray bed
Long panel is pretty straight.
Anyway, check out the thread http://www.kustomcoachwerks.com/forums/ ... sc&start=0
And now some bling shots.....
That's the teaser. Now some good photos.....
