63 bus

Post by braddick »

This is my current bus that I bought 16 odd yes ago
Found it in the trading post drove to Adelaide to view the bus and drove it home (3.5hr) and then got RWC the next week all for the pricey some of $4300 ( the good old days)
Might u it didn't look like this when I bought it

The rear set up looks good Brad and engine bay looks very clean and neat (and fast!) too.

I picked up my gearbox from Andrew on Tuesday so keen to try and get it back in the bus this Sunday.
No matter what happens they can't take you out in the street and shoot you......

nice bus, whats the specs on suspension wise ?
Sitting nicely.
16 years at that price would of seemed a bit of cashola.
Nice bit of foresight there.

Narrowed 4 " beam
Dropped spindles with adjusters in the beam
Old mate Johnny Sherman disks up front
Straight axle out back, type 3 drum brakes in the back
About 125mm of the ground no tubs with about 25mm clearance to the wheel tubs

Will be hoping to go lower with the mingo mango with some changes
